OVERVIEW Crestron is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Data Analytics team in Orangeburg, NY, 10962. Working as part of a growing team, the Data Engineer will have the opportunity to be part of the ever-growing demands of data strategy that support data science and business intelligence at scale. The Data Engineer will be part of a team that cleans, transforms, and aggregates data and will compile and install database systems and write complex queries. They will be tasked with identifying, designing, and implementing data solutions to business problems. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop complex database infrastructure with Python, SQL, and PowerBI and data management processes to facilitate rapid ingestion and dissemination of key data Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and presentation of data to develop compelling and accurate analytical reports, historical data trend analysis, and identification of opportunities to drive continuous improvement with dashboards to support metrics Perform data extraction and data cleansing from SAP and other systems Apply strong technical knowledge of Python, SQL, and PowerBI to architect solutions that meet business needs, create data roadmaps, and enable the data to scale and support internal and external organizations Execute building data solutions for business intelligence and assist in managing and monitoring the data network Other duties as assigned by manager QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent Minimum 4
years' experience in the role of designing and building databases with a focus on advanced analytics and business intelligence or similar roles Extensive Python, SQL, and PowerBI experience Extensive experience working with different data sources in Azure that connect to Microsoft Azure Platform Ability to manage and prioritize workload and adapt quickly and positively to change Demonstrated ability to influence positive change in a rapid, high pace environment Knowledge of SAP & CRM systems preferred BenefitsAt Crestron Electronics, we offer a competitive total compensation package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and short-term disability. 401k with company contribution, paid vacation, holidays and more!
