This role will focus primarily on constructing/maintaining routes for our various customers but will also provide an opportunity to learn dispatching skills by assisting our current dispatch team.
Qualifications:
Excellent Computer/ Clerical skills Superb organizational skills Ability to quickly prioritize tasks Desire to problem solve and keep strong records Thrives in a fast-paced setting School bus business, management, or school bus routing experience a plus but will train the right person
Responsibilities:
Utilizes Transfinder, an industry standard routing software, to draw efficient routes Disseminates route information to all relevant partners (schools, drivers, dispatchers, etc) Uses keen attention to detail to ensure routes are efficient on both resources and ride time Ensures contractual obligations are upheld when routing for various customers Communicates key details of route assignments to drivers to ensure proper execution Assists dispatch in answering phone calls, emergency response, mechanical issues of vehicles, etc Will be required to obtain a class C CDL with P&S endorsements and be able to drive a school bus for emergency purposes Compensation:
