description:
The Customer Project and Service Specialist primary responsibility consists of assuring that the customer projects as well service levels goals are met or exceeded.
Report directly to the Supply Chain & Customer Service Manager.
Responsibilities:
Ensure excellent customer satisfaction by monitoring and responding to all customer issues and concerns and seeing they are handled efficiently, effectively and in a timely manner.
Manage the Customer Service order entry, administrative and support functions to support end user supply sales globally.
Assist in resolving price discrepancies on purchase orders as well as helping the finance team in collecting overdue payments from customers.
Develop policies and procedures to allow for effective implementation of order entry processes, to monitor the effectiveness of accounts receivable and collections programs and takes personal action when needed to resolve customer disputes via a claims process.
Responsible to report any customer complaints per company policy and procedures to QA Manager.
Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
Support internal and external audits requirements related to Customer Service.
Responsible for working with the Commercial Team on updating and distributing yearly price lists to customers.
Serve as primary contact point to Commercial Team to coordinate customer on site visits, customer quotation requests, customer sample requests and customer sales reports as needed.
Works closely with Commercial Team to provide guidance and oversight on Key Accounts Effectively communicate with other departments to handle any escalating issues in a timely manner.
Assist Production Team with managing the production schedule weekly to facilitate proper placement of products on the schedule based on customer request dates and meeting lead times.
Manage multiple customers' projects in all phases of development starting with sourcing of packaging/suppliers and ending in product shipment to the client.
Creating, managing and tracking all project related materials including but not limited to suppliers, cost estimates, status reports and changes requested by customers as well as design changes both internally and customer forms.
Manage the day to day activities associated with customer related projects.
Be a decision maker in terms of risks and tradeoffs and communicating that information to the customer.
Apply system techniques and procedures throughout the project management lifecycle.
Provide ongoing status of the project to both the customer and EuroMed management team.
Manage all artwork for private label customer branded materials including but not limited to retail boxes, packaging films, release liners, inserts and clamshells, etc.
Assist Quality Management Team with implementing new customer quality requirements including but not limited to labeling, artwork changes, product specifications, quality agreements and other quality related requests.
Support compliance with the company quality standards, FDA regulations and guidance, applicable EU Medical Device directives, applicable ISO standards, and other pertinent country specific medical regulatory requirements.
Liaison between the Customer and the Production Team on new project requirements including but not limited to raw material requirements, packaging, sterilization needs, quality parameters, labeling, shipping and delivery needs.
Qualifications:
Required Excellent communication and organizational skills Highly proficient writing skills 3- 5 years' hands-on experience in Customer Service.
Excellent time management skills Proven track record in project management and multiple phases of completing a project from beginning to end; must be able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Must demonstrate the ability to set and meet deadline Problem solving and decision making.
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite.
Good ability to assign tasks to project members Preferred Working knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485/9001 and ISO 14971 regulatory standards for medical devices Working knowledge of cGMP, ISO, and FDA regulations a plus.
BS degree in related field preferred but not required.
3-5 years of experience in medical device/pharmaceutical industry.
WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment; daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required.
However, while performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to visit the manufacturing areas near moving mechanical parts, electronics and other light industrial equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
This would require the ability to lift files, office products, samples and supplies up to 30 pounds, open filing cabinets, bend and kneel, or stoop as necessary.
Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and reach with hands and arms.
