Aluf Plastics is seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Service Representative with hands-on skills to join our team.
This position is located in our Orangeburg ny location and is fully on-site.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently process orders and address any customer concerns, ensuring timely resolution and necessary adjustments.
Resolve production, shipping, and billing issues by facilitating product exchanges, expediting orders, and collaborating with the accounting department for RMA processing and credit memos.
Provide support to the sales team by managing sample requests, addressing inventory inquiries, and furnishing ETAs for open orders, while also assisting with pricing and quotes as required.
Facilitate interdepartmental communication to ensure comprehensive responses to customer inquiries, liaising with shipping, warehouse, production, QC, accounting, IT, sales, and marketing departments.
Utilize automated production scheduling programs to monitor and track order statuses effectively.
Requirements:
5 years customer service experience required Proficient phone handling skills to deliver exceptional customer service.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Competence in utilizing company-supported computer programs.
Strong organizational and problem-solving aptitude.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with a positive demeanor.
Proficiency in simultaneous telephone communication and computer data entry.
Experience in manufacturing environment a plus Hourly non-exempt position - fully on-site Job Type:
