Program Manager/Meeting Manager - CME

Job Description

Paradigm Medical Communications, LLC, an ACCME accredited provider of medical education, located in Orangeburg, NY, is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and versatile individual to assist in the management of program activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage project timelines and communications for assigned CME activities (live and enduring) including overall program management, logistics, content development, and creative processes

  • Prepare ongoing reports as needed

  • Maintain budget for program(s)

  • Oversee meetings management responsibilities (site searches, hotel contracting, food & beverage, audiovisual, travel coordination, etc.)

  • Faculty correspondence and management

  • Manage participant recruitment for live and/or enduring activities

  • Work with designers and printers to create promotional materials for activities

  • Work with in-house editorial, business development, and external staff to meet deadlines

  • Collaborate with internal teams to assist in the development of new grant requests and budgets

  • Administrative duties, as required

  • Onsite travel to meetings required

  • Other responsibilities, as assigned


  • Self-starter who is meticulous with detail and follow through specific to ensuring both quality and timeliness of project deliverables

  • 3+ years' experience managing and executing continuing medical education (CME) activities (regional meetings, satellite symposia, grand rounds, live streaming webinars, on-demand web activities, etc.)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint a plus

  • Basic writing and copyediting/proofreading skills a plus

  • Familiarity with ACCME Guidelines

  • BA/BS preferred

  • Ability to multitask & prioritize projects with multiple and competing priorities

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure and within tight timelines

  • Preparedness to adjust to ever-changing circumstances and work in a team environment

  • Willingness to travel as needed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
