Senior Buyer

? Supplier Management: identifying and developing new suppliers as needed, regulate supplier performance by reviewing supplier performance metrics, developing new metrics to monitor internal SCM performance as needed, develop strong relationships with new and existing suppliers, assess supplier performance.? Purchasing: Coordinate the purchase, delivery, and receipt of goods and services including PO issuing and managing, assure that purchase orders are effectively negotiated (Non-Standard T&C;?s, Pricing, Delivery). Ensure alignment of payment terms in line with AP targets? Cost Productivity: Deliver material cost productivity through day to day purchasing activities - developing and managing strategic cost savings and productivity opportunities, negotiating complex and high-value contracts with suppliers, managing Long Term Agreements and Consignment programs? Bids & Proposals: work across functions to support others to prepare and submit RFQ?s to suppliers,? Day to day activities: timely updates to shortage reports. Ensure demand signal parameters are accurate and optimized (Kanban, min/max, etc.) Ensure supplier lead-time accuracy in demand system, working Risk and Opportunity Management? CPEx: Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities and promote CPEx activities.? Cost Management & Savings: Create and implement Site specific Cost Savings projects. Calculate and report monthly savings from Site specific Cost Savings projects? Inventory: work in partnership with the Planning organization to define Unit needs & requirements and understand supplier lead-times and capacity? Compliance: Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards and Ensures compliance with Company quality requirements? Team Support: Support Global Sourcing leadership with special projects. Participate as key procurement representative in site operations and functional meetings
Quals--
? Bachelor?s Degree in a related discipline (e. g. supply management, business, operations management, etc.) is desired? Operational Excellence training and/or certification (e. g. 6-Sigma, Lean, Continuous Improvement, etc.)? Five years or more of purchasing experience, preferably in aerospace, within a culture of Operational Excellence? Highly-proficient in PC applications including: Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL and Access)? Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).? Ability to understand comprehend production plans and demand schedules? Proven skills in the development of partnerships internal and external customers and exemplary Relationship Management? Ability to engage others in, facilitate consensus, obtain buy-in of leadership and drive for successful adoption of change initiatives.? Technical expertise? proven experience in MRP/ERP shop floor control, Total Cost Analysis, Manufacturing Process Knowledge, Purchasing Process Knowledge? Must demonstrate effectiveness at managing negotiations resulting in a win/win conclusion.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
