Associate Director Retail Category Development

Nice-Pak Products, Inc. (NP) is the global developer, manufacturer and marketer of pre-moistened wipes for the consumer market, specializing in personal care, hygiene, household cleaning and disinfection products.  We have several locations across the US and are looking for new Associates to join our team! POSITION PURPOSE The Associate Director Retail Category Development will have the vision, structured thinking and business savvy to leadand advocate the Total Wet Wipes Solution Initiative by providing insights, identifying opportunities and tailoring solutions todrive Nice-Pak category recommendations for each retail partner. This is a pivotal role that will influence a more holistic way of thinking throughout the organization in line with our strategic blueprint. He/she is ultimately responsible for developing total wet wipe solutions to drive the category for the customer. This individual must be perceived as a credible partner that is well-equipped to provide category assessments, product assortment & shelf strategy recommendations to maximize revenue and profit for each retailer. Through analysis, key projects and recommendations, he/she will work collaboratively with Sales and Category Marketing teams across all NP categories, brands and retailers to inform business decisions and develop marketing & merchandising strategies that promote category expansion and brand growth.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES FUNCTION A: Data Collection, Analysis, Interpretation and Application a. Utilize all available data sources to generate the optimal assortment recommendations for retailers' total sets including private label, NP brands and national brands to drive category growth and NP business b. Analyze and interpret data to provide tangible and measurable valued recommendations to align with specific business needs and priorities c. Responsible for ongoing monitoring and conducting routine data management with IRI to ensure data is up to date and valid FUNCTION B: Drive Retail Category Management process a. Lead development of the Retail Category Management Center of Excellence through the establishment of insights, reports and best practices that can be shared and utilize to raise the wider organization's category management competencies b. Understand and communicate Category Line Review schedules for all key customers, ensuring all key deliverables are received within customer timelines c. Develop product assortment and placement recommendations utilizing the shopper-centric Wet Wipes Optimization Model (WWOM) including the launch of new items & SKU rationalization or discontinuations d. Monthly analysis of external and internal sales and profitability data to identify opportunity gaps, success stories, best practices and competitive strategies FUNCTION C: Partner with Marketing and Sales on business-building initiatives a. Develop game-changing presentations that support POG recommendations with data and strong visual components for customer bids, joint business planning, new item sales presentations, line reviews  b. Work in conjunction with Director, Strategy & Insights to create and deliver the shopper learning plan which may include custom primary research, syndicated data analysis, use of syndicated reports and new analytic solutions  c. Present key analysis and actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers, including meetings that take place at customer or Nice-Pak facilities PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS 1. Takes initiative, anticipates needs/issues and works proactively to address them 2. Holistic view of the business 3. Leverages and integrates data from multiple sources (IRI POS, Retailer POS, HH Panel Data, Nice-Pak factory shipments) to develop insights and strategies which impact business and/or anticipate changes in the marketplaceRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's degree in a business related field REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Category Management, data analysis and expertise, strong knowledge of IRI/Nielsen POS and HH Panel data EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  o 10+ years CPG experience in progressively elevated roles in sales and category management  o Proven track record of designing, executing and successfully delivering positive change within an organization o Management experience SKILLS/ABILITIES:  o Ability to identify and distill a vast amount of data from disparate data sources o High energy, innovative individual who is motivated by challenging assignments o Customer-facing experience  o Ability to manage multiple requests with conflicting priorities under tight deadlines o Excellent presentation skills, with ability to synthesize complex information for audience o Ability to travel up to 30% o Self-motivated and able to operate independently, as well as work effectively with others o Manages to budget, suggests ways to be more efficient WORKING CONDITIONS CORPORATE / WAREHOUSE ENVIRONMENT / LABORATORY ENVIRONMENT / HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENT Office Environment 18-0510

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
