Electronics Field Service Technician Springfield/Hadley, MA OR Bridgeport, CT

We are looking for a talented individual to join
our team as an Installation and Service Technician. As a key part of the team,
the Installation and Service Technician works in retail stores to install and
repair Inventory Control and Video equipment.

How you will do it

Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on retail
products and equipment at customer sites.
Keep track of your service calls via computer, including products serviced,
work performed, hours and parts utilized.
Maintain an accurate parts inventory at levels that insure a first time fix.
Demonstrate and train customers how to use their equipment properly.
Keep your manager in the loop about your customer's satisfaction, any
potential sales opportunities or any recurring problems.
Take care of other tasks as needed

What we look for
  • High School Diploma or
  • L5 or L6 Low Voltage or better
    required for state of CT.
  • Systems Technicians D license
    or better for state of MA.
  • 3 years prior work experience
    in related field.
  • Competed basic EAS and Video
    training and certifications
  • Highly organized, strong
    interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • General knowledge of
    electronics required.
  • Willing to obtain or have State
    License as required. (State Dependent)
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude
    and be able to use hand and power tools.
  • Capable of performing physical
    labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual and
    sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and
    high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces,
    above ceilings, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills,
    positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
  • Must be capable of working
    independently or as a team
  • Working Knowledge of MS Office
    and basic PC skills.
  • Excellent written and oral
  • Ability to travel and work
    overtime as needed.
  • Able to read and
    interpret blueprints and Scope documents
  • Certified in all Video &
    RFID solution currently sold and serviced by Retail preferred
  • Network Certification - Full
    competency in all required networking, advanced performance

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
